Soooooooooo they tried to take my tooth today. They even got me in the chair, but then that little voice was like RUN!!! So I grabbed my purse and ran for the door. Only problem is I'm probably just putting myself through another week of pain only to find myself right back in the chair. After 3 failed root canals the Dentist feels it is time to pull the tooth, I'm just not ready to let it go. But after nearly 2 months I am ready for this to be over with. *sigh*

Anyone got 2/3 grand lying around I can use to buy a new tooth?

Well.. I made it safe and sound to VA. I'm sneaking on using someone's access, so fingers crossed they cut me off *grin*. It was a good drive, not bad at all. I left a day early because of the potential bad weather on Wed. It feels weird being here, like I'm on vacation, but yet a lot of my stuff is here. I guess it is just going to take awhile.

Hugs for all the support you guys gave me!

So I think I need a root canal. Last week I got my new crown and a week later I'm still in pain. I had the bite adjusted, but it is still hurting me. I was up all night with it. Going in this morning to have to checked again. I'm at the point where I just want the huge thing pulled. After 3 weeks (temp & perm crown) of hurting, stick a fork in me, I'm done!!! Whaaaaaaaaa!

Has anyone else seen this?? It is wrong on so many levels!

Spongebob Rectal Thermometer : - Are you ready to put this in your “Bikini Bottom”? I was shopping at the supermarket yesterday when I came upon a unique piece of Nickelodeon merchandising - a Spongebob Squarepants Musical Rectal Thermometer! Yes, it’s musical. And yes, it’s clearly marked for rectal use. It actually plays the Spongebob theme in your ass when your temperature is taken! Spongebob is a huge success, and merchandise like this literally sticks it to the competition. But this product ranks with the infamous Mickey Mouse vibrator as one of the most miscast in cartoon licensing history! What were they thinking? Spongebob has enough trouble regarding his sexual identity. Ren & Stimpy may have been a better choice here… but Spongebob? Nah!

Hi all... just a quick announcement. I quit my job yesterday and I'm moving back to VA on the 19th of March. It's been a good run here, but I'm ready to go home. I've been wanting to do this for the longest time, I can't believe I finally did it. I don't think it's really hit me yet, but no looking back now. Wish me luck!

On Saturday night I hooked up with thermidor and catrinella and it was a total blast! First we headed to Lenox to break the bank at Lush! Then it was off to Oakland Cemetery for a little Geocaching and a Walking Tour.

The Walking Tour was simply amazing! All the tours were done at night with candlelight paths leading the way. The tour guides were done up in period pieces, which really helped set the mood. What I really liked about the tour was that it was a Historical Tour, not a Ghost Tour. Now don't get me wrong, I love a good Ghost Tour, but this was very informative. I learned alot about some of the people laid to rest there.

There was fullmoon and a nice chill in the air and great company. It was a perfect way to spend the evening. I highly rec going next year!

PS: Oh! and we topped the evening off with a little Guinness!! Can't bet that!!

So I totally flaked on posting this but last weekend I attended a Ghost Hunting Lecture. It was pretty cool. They talked about how investigations get started and what type of equipment they use. I thought it was very informative and it was fun getting to meet other Ghostie people.

This weekend was also a blast in that I got to try Geocaching for the first time. If you've never heard of geocaching, it's sort like treasure hunting. You use a GPS device to find hidden caches. And they can be anywhere, from a parking lot to the top of a mountain. People do this all over the world, so there are thousands of caches to find. It's great exercise and a fun way to send the day. I hooked up with thermidor and catrinella, who had done this before, so they were able to show me the ropes.

First they let me find 3 on my own, to get me started. These were ones, they had already found. Then we proceed to find 3 more as a team. I think we are going by Team Guinness. HEE. The last cache was very cool in that it was a two parter. So you find one part and then you are given clues to find the next cache. That was a total blast. The whole day was great, but man was I exhausted when I got home.

I've posted a few pics in my scrapbook, if you want to take a look, but be warned there are pictures next to the cache name.

So I went to see the movie Poltergeist last night with a friend. It was the 25th anniversary of the movie.. geesh I feel OLD. Anyway, it was really cool getting to see it again. I hadn't seen it in years. After the movie they interviewed several "real life" paranormal investigators talking about the movie, that was really interesting. The head of the local ATL Ghost Hunting group was one of the people they interviewed. I was like "hey.. I know him".

Some movies are just classics *grin*

So at work they've been encouraging us to draw cartoon characters in the stairways, just for fun. A number of people have drawn some really great characters...I however, can not draw. Except for "Bird". I draw Bird everywhere. I don't think there is a whiteboard in the building that hasn't been graced with Bird. So when they said "draw away", I did. Bird is now a permanent figure in the halls.
